madboySave Threads videos on iPhone and Android
Use Madboy in your mobile browser to save a public Threads post. You can download files normally or use your device’s sharing menu when supported.
Download with your mobile browser
Copy a public Threads post link, paste it into Madboy and tap Download. Open a preview to check the file, or use the Download button in its row. Video playback starts muted; enable sound with the player’s controls.
On iPhone, check your browser’s downloads list and the Files app. On Android, check the browser’s download list or your device’s Downloads folder. The exact destination depends on your browser and settings.
Use Save / Share when it is available
Supported mobile browsers show a sharing button beside each file. Tap it once to prepare the file, then tap Save / Share to open the device menu. Preparation does not send the file anywhere automatically.
If the menu offers Save Video or Save Image, you can use it to add the file to Photos. You may also be able to save to Files or share with another app. Available options depend on the browser, device and file format. Save / Share supports files up to 50 MiB.
Save several files as a ZIP
For a carousel with two or more files, use Download all files as ZIP. Open the downloaded archive with your device’s file manager. A ZIP is saved as an archive; its contents are not automatically added to Photos.
For larger files or browsers without file sharing, use Download. Each file and ZIP archive supports up to 128 MiB.
